A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, where a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity:

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Sina Pötzl, animalracing, Bahnhofsallee 18, 35606 Solms, Germany, Tel.: 01608151215, E-Mail: info@animalracing.de) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You can use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of cancellation

The right of cancellation does not exist for contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time the contract is concluded, do not belong to any member state of the European Union and whose sole domicile and delivery address are located outside the European Union at the time the contract is concluded.

General notes

  1. Please avoid damaging and soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
  2. Please do not return the goods to us carriage forward (postage unpaid).
  3. Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
